报告人简介：Ana García-Armada is a top-leading researcher in the field of communications and signal processing in Europe. In Spain, she is among the top-5 researchers for the whole country in the field of communications. She is involved in a broad variety of committees regarding communications in Europe and has plenty of awards, recognitions and titles from the IEEE. She led many European projects, including Chinese partners, as well as projects with Huawei, among others. In Ana's department, some of the professors (Associate Prof. María Julia Fernández-Getino García) were involved in the first tests of OFDM modulations for communication systems, together with Ove Edfords (Lund University).
University Carlos III of Madrid (UC3M) is one of the top technical universities in Spain and recognized as the best university for internationalization programs in the country. It is among the 50 best world young universities in the QS rank.
From our department, we already had some meetings with Ana to trying to establish cooperation in research and teaching. We have some ongoing works with Ana's teams in the field of channel modeling and waveform design for ISAC. We have also cooperated in some special sessions at international conferences.
