现作为项目负责人主持“上海市青年科技英才扬帆计划”项目“毫米波大规模天线系统的低复杂度基站间协作传输机制研究”。在英国期间，作为项目负责人主持英国知山大学研究项目“EE-FUN: Energy-Efficient decomposition of Future Ultra-dense wireless Networks”；作为主要研究人员参与3项5G重大研究项目，包括英国工程和自然科学基金（EPSRC）项目“NIRVANA: iNtellIgent heteRogeneous VirtuAlised Networking infrastructure”，欧盟Horizon 2020项目“RAPID: Radio technologies for 5G using Advanced Photonic Infrastructure for Dense user environments”和“iCIRRUS: intelligent Converged network consolIdating Radio and optical access aRound USer equipment”。

研究背景主要为无线通信中多天线系统的性能分析及优化，包括大规模集中式多天线技术（massive MIMO），大规模分布式多天线技术（large-scale distributed antenna systems/cloud radio access networks (C-RAN)/cell-free massive MIMO）等。已在无线通信领域顶级学术期刊和会议发表论文20余篇，近5年内被引用280余次。参与组织了无线通信国际会议ICC 2019，多次受邀担任无线通信国际会议的TPC member，欧盟Horizon 2020计划的项目远程评审，无线通信顶级期刊及会议审稿人。
